The International Workshop on Cutting, Packing and Related Topics aims at gathering PhD students working in the field of Cutting and Packing and in related areas and providing them with a forum where they can present their work and discuss their findings with senior experts in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Presentations at any stage of development are welcome, from simple state-of-the-art reports or research ideas for the PhD, to ongoing work or even final results from theses already finished. Presentations are granted significantly more time than at regular conferences, in order to allow for in-depth discussions. Two tutorials on selected topics will complement the scientific program. An attractive social program will provide opportunities for networking and socializing with other young researchers and established experts in the field.
The organizers are confident that the Workshop provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the state-of-the-art in Cutting and Packing and get to know the leading researchers in the field.
